HOPE — Jennings County opened its girls tennis season Tuesday with a 5-0 win at Hauser.
Kaydence Lowman beat Isabella Price 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Mia Silvey topped Ruby McKinney 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Grace McBride blanked Kaydenze Brock 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Panthers.
Jennings’ Sophia Lucas and Gabi Morin defeated Abby Manley and Kaycee Ridgley 6-3, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles. Jocelyn Valdovinos and Maddie McIntosh edged Maley Jordan and June Berkenstock 6-4, 7-6 (2) at No. 2 doubles.
The Jets fell to 0-2.
