GREENSBURG — Class A No. 7 Hauser clinched at least a share of the Mid-Hoosier Conference baseball title Thursday with a 4-0 win at South Decatur.
Simeon Wasil threw a three-hit shutout with 15 strikeouts and had two RBIs at the plate for the Jets (12-3, 9-0). RJ Foster went 2 for 4 to lead Hauser’s eight-hit attack.
Three different players had a single for the Cougars (6-8, 4-5). Corey Nugent threw an eight-hitter.
