Juntos con Family School Partners — 11 to 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Children and their caregivers are invited to a storytime in Spanish.

Smoke on the Square — 4 to 8 p.m., Hope Town Square, 635 Harrison St., Hope. The event is the largest annual fundraiser for the Community Center of Hope. It features a BBQ cook-off competition between teams and public BBQ dining. Meals will include ribs, brisket, pork, beans, chips, hot dogs and chicken. Jazz a la Mode 2025 — 7 to 10:30 p.m., Columbus North High School, 1400 25th St., Columbus. Jazz a la Mode 2025 is a fundraiser event for Columbus North Bands featuring three jazz ensembles: Jazz Lab, North Blues and 25th Street Jazz. Included in the ticket price is admission to the concert and dessert. Additionally, there is an assortment of raffles and a silent auction.
