TERRE HAUTE — Columbus North earned a share of the Conference Indiana softball title Wednesday with a 5-2 win at Terre Haute South.
The Bull Dogs (12-10, 4-1) broke a 2-2 tie with a three-run seventh, then held the Braves in the bottom of the inning to finish in a tie with Bloomington South and Terre Haute North atop the conference.
Bailee Scruggs threw a six-hitter and went 2 for 4 at the plate for the Bull Dogs.
North will host Jennings County Thursday in a makeup game from Tuesday’s rainout.
