HOPE — Hauser clinched the outright Mid-Hoosier Conference softball title Wednesday with a 12-0 win against Waldron.
Waldron forfeited the second game of the scheduled doubleheader to the Jets. South Decatur also has forfeited Saturday’s scheduled makeup game, so Hauser (12-5, 11-0) will close the regular season Thursday at Morristown.
Haven Hartwell threw a two-hit shutout Wednesday for the Jets. Lucie Asher went 2 for 3 with a home run, Izzy Brunner went 2 for 3, Haylin Campbell went 2 for 4 with two RBIs, Cheyenne Moody had three stolen bases and two RBIs, and Kaitlyn Robinson had two RBIs.
