Council for Youth Development Open Meeting — 10:30 a.m. to noon, The LEX, 850 Tipton Lane, Columbus. CYD Open Meetings are open to all interested in improving the well-being of youth and their families in Bartholomew County. The council will share more details about the 2025 Youth Empowerment Summit and the 2025-2026 Youth Ambassador Cohort selection, along with updates about the Youth Mental Health Initiative and System of Care. D.I.G Time (Drop-in Gardening) — 11 to 11:45 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Drop in to the garden and get messy. Dig in the garden, explore nature, make art and play.

USDA Summer Food Service Program — noon to 1 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Bartholomew County School Corp. will once again be partnering with the library to provide summer lunch services.

Getting Started with Google Docs — 12:30 to 2 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Learn the basics of Google Docs. This class covers creating, editing and sharing documents so you can work with confidence, whether for home, school or work. Register on the library website.

Laid Back Library Wednesdays — 1 to 2 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join library staff after lunch for some laid back fun, including games, crafts and more.

kidscommons at the Library: Animal Architects — 1 to 2 p.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Children in grades K through 2 are invited to join kidscommons educators to learn about what animals need to survive and construct shelters that will suit different animals.

Teen Film Series: Renaissance Double Feature — 1 to 3 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Watch “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” and “Tarzan” in the Teen Area.

Medieval Times Community Fun Day — 1:30 to 3 p.m., Circle K Fieldhouse, 2224 25th St., Columbus. Drop in for a performance from court jester Quibbleflop the Hilarious, followed by themed games and activities in the Fieldhouse. Free.

Music Makerspace — 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Columbus Propeller, 4760 Ray Boll Blvd., Columbus. Music Makerspace is a place where people can come looking for others to play music with. Propeller is looking for people interested in getting back into playing or possibly picking up an instrument.

Maker Fair and Open House — 6 to 8 p.m., Columbus Propeller, 4760 Ray Boll Blvd., Columbus. Activities will include painting 3D printed items, woodshop projects, acrylic sign making and trebuchet launching. Food trucks and Lemonade Bros will be present.
