Flat Rock-Hawcreek Superintendent Kathy Griffey retired after 45 years in education. Griffey began her education career teaching English to junior high students in Marshall, just north of Terre Haute.

Volunteer attorneys with Bartholomew Area Legal Aid were recognized during Bartholomew Area Legal Aid Inc.’s volunteer appreciation luncheon. During the luncheon, Mayor Fred Armstrong declared June 15 “Legal Aid Volunteer Day.”
