The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch until 8 p.m. Wednesday for Bartholomew County, including Columbus. In all, the watch includes 39 counties in Indiana.
Other counties in central Indiana include Boone, Clinton, Decatur, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Howard, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Rush, Shelby and Tipton.
