Downtown Columbus Food Truck Festival — 4 to 8 p.m., former Sears parking lot, 400 Brown St., Columbus. Will feature 14 food trucks, outdoor seating and free parking. Live outdoor music will be played at Hotel Indigo from 5 to 7 p.m.
Black Heritage Trail Ribbon Cutting Celebration — 5 to 7 p.m., 6th Street Arts Alley, Sixth and Franklin streets, Columbus. To mark the opening of the Black Heritage Trail, there will be a ceremony with comments from Paulette Roberts, Brenda Pitts and others before a ribbon cutting to celebrate the trail’s opening. Transformers — 6 to 7 p.m., St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 719 Fifth St., Columbus. This group welcomes children and families who are grieving a loss. Families will receive resources/topics the Monday prior to the Thursday meeting. Meets in-person on the first and third Thursdays of each month in Room 2164.
