United Way of Bartholomew County’s inaugural Day of Caring carried on despite rainy weather, which included hundreds of Columbus residents lending a helping hand to community agencies and neighbors. Outdoor projects were set to be completed on July 10.

The old Moose Lodge on Washington Street was leased by Indiana Wesleyan University, with plans to renovate the building and open in the fall.
