
Joey Paxson drove the Tony Stewart Racing No. 1 All Star TQ Midget to the feature win June 14 at the Rush County 4-H Fairgrounds in Rushville. Tuesday night, the series will be in competition at the 2025 Bartholomew County 4-H fair race.

Joey Paxson, driving the Tony Stewart Racing No. 1, raced to another All Star TQ Midget feature win June 14 at the Rush County 4-H Fairgrounds in Rushville.
Paxson started sixth in the 25-lap main event and went to take the lead on Lap 18, passing race-long leader Rylan Gray for the top spot.
Logan Prickett finished in second, followed by Kevin Cunningham, Johnny Goff and Collin May. Rounding out the top 10 were Landron Browning, Colby Lane, Stephen Davis, Logan Rabourn and Jayden Gorman.
The All-Star TQ Midgets will next be in action on Tuesday for their annual fair race at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds.
Burns wins Caruthers Memorial at Paragon
Harley Burns took the win June 14 at Paragon Speedway, winning the Roy Caruthers Memorial race for sprint cars. Cameron LaRose was second, followed by Cale Coons, Todd Hobson and Jordan Kinser.
Jordan Wever won the modified feature over Tyler Loughmiller, Landon Barker, Cole Wright and Christopher Cole. Jeremy Wilson won the hornet division feature over Alex Wilson, Josh Arthur, A.J. Hobbs and Deron Freeman.

From 70 years ago in 1955 at Columbus Speedway, Bobby Baker won the feature race over Jim Quillen, John Fewell, Frank Templeton and Fred Wilbur.
From 60 years ago in 1965 at 25th Street Fairgrounds Speedway in Columbus, Hillbilly Ogle won the stock car feature over Pee Wee Day, Sherman McElfresh and Alvin Shepherd.
Also in 1965 at the Bedford Speedrome, Don Jackson won the super-modified feature, and Sheldon Kinser won the jalopy car feature.
From 60 years ago at Brownstown, Gene Sutton won the feature race.
From 50 years ago this weekend at Brownstown, Jim Curry won the late model feature over Paul Crockett, Terrence Johnson, Ira Bastin and Noel Witcher. Ed Covey won the hobby stock feature over Jack Smith and Denny Ashley.
Also in 1975 at Twin Cities, Denny Long won the 6-cylinder feature over Scott Schirmer, Dee Kramer, Bill Cummings and Chuck Gilpin. Powell Ballard won the hobby stock feature over Harold Hanson, Bill Smith, Bill Mann and Ed Lloyd.
From 1975 at Haubstadt, Dick Gaines won the sprint car feature over Bubby Jones, and Tom Helfrich won the late model feature over Don Turpen.
From 50 years ago at Ponderosa Speedway in Kentucky, Gene Petro won the late model feature over E.M. Snowden Jr., Fats Coffey, Gerald Dixon and Tommy Day.
Also from 50 years ago in 1975 at the Northern Kentucky Speedway, Floyd Gilbert won the late model feature over Vern LeFevers, Gene Petro, Pat Patrick and Ron Edwards.
From 40 years ago in 1985 at Brownstown, there were two late model features ran, with John Gill winning the first feature over Ray Godsey, Bob Pierce, Tom Helfrich and Don Hobbs. Kevin Claycomb won the second feature over Dennis Boknecht, Gill, Wayne Coakley and Godsey. In the modified street stock division, Mike Bechelli won both feature races that were contested. He won the first feature over Earl Plessinger, Dan Londeree, Don Barnett and Billy Filburn. Bechelli’s win in the second feature came over Rick Hines, Barnett, Steve Trabue and Plessinger.
Also in 1985 at Twin Cities, Bud Seymour won the late model feature over John Warner and Roger Sullivan. Phil Fultz won the street stock feature Gregg Lyle, and Mark Barber took the modified street stock feature.
From 30 years ago in 1995 at Brownstown, Don O’Neal won the Hoosier Dirt Classic over Billy Moyer, Rick Aukland, Doug McCammon and Scott Graham. Randy Petro won the street stock feature over Rick Hines, Brad Erwin, Delbert Ross and Matt Boknecht. Scott Patman won the modified feature over Dusty Chapman, Scott Smith, Gary Burton and A.J. Bowlen. Charlie Stevens Jr won the bomber feature over Ray Godsey, Jr., Scott Barker, Steve Walp and Don Fleetwood.
Also in 1995 at Bloomington, Kevin Thomas won the USAC Indiana Sprint Week race over Kurt Hawkins, Jon Stanbrough, Dave Darland and Kent Christian. Greg Kendall won the street stock feature over Denny Campbell, Cale Kern Terry Arthur and Gregg O’Neill. Kerry Norris won the modified feature over Dale Dubois, Gary Burton, John Davis and Ray Godsey.
From 20 years ago in 2005 at Brownstown, Steve Barnett won the late model feature over Mark Barber, Josh Williams, Dan Sturgeon and Brad Barrow. Tim Clark wont he super stock feature over Terrence Johnson, Winston Howe, Chris Deweese and Jay Deckard. Steven Godsey won the bomber feature over Bub Cummings, Clifton Barron, Darrell Burton and Paul Owens.
