The Columbus East High School art department named seniors Lauren Baugh and Mariann Fant as the winners of the Phillip R. Miller Purchase Awards for 2015. Baugh won for her clay sculpture, “Autumn Rust,” and Fant won for her pencil drawing, “Breathe.”

A Bicycle/Tricycle Rodeo was held at Donner Park, which included an obstacle course and race. Columbus Police Department Sgt. Doug Lee was on hand to show youngsters his patrol bike and help with the obstacle course.

Members of the Arthur Jordan College of Music’s dance department performed scenes from Prokofieff’s “Peter and the Wolf,” with music performed by the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
