A celebration of life ceremony to honor former Columbus Mayor Robert Stewart was held at city hall, which included stories about his life and career. Stewart was Columbus’ first three-term mayor.

Columbus Fire Chief Maurice Jordan presented retired fireman Edgar Harris with a medal for his 27 years of service to the department. Harris served as a firefighter from 1947 to 1974.
