Schultz
Austin Schultz has joined Horizon Bank as vice president, senior commercial loan officer.
Based out of Horizon’s Franklin office, Schultz brings two decades of banking experience to the role, including a strong focus in commercial lending since 2009. In his new position, Schultz will focus on building long-term relationships with businesses and nonprofit organizations across the communities Horizon serves.
Schultz began his career in banking in 2005 and has held several roles in commercial banking since 2009. He earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Indianapolis in 2004. He also holds a graduate degree in Banking & Financial Support Services and an Executive Leadership Certificate in Organizational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Schultz has also been actively involved in the community through volunteer efforts with the University of Indianapolis Greyhound Club, Neighborhood Health Center of Wayne County, Forest Hills Country Club, Kokomo Country Club, and former board member of the Forest Hills Historical Foundation.
