Orchids to

Jim Merritt for his column about removing bureaucratic barriers and paperwork for prescribing medications, especially pain killers.

the excellent column by Jerald McNair about the need for parents to encourage their children to read books, especially when they are out of school.

reading the bill aloud, maybe senators will understand what they are imposing on their constituents.

Onions to

anyone thinking our country does not need to be protected, because if it’s not, you would regret that thinking.

controlling courts, military, law enforcement, rights being abolished, and thugs beating and deporting people off the streets, just like the controlling party in pre-World War II Germany.

the hospital ending its sports medicine program, another consequence of the anticommunity governmental policies taking away from the middle/lower class to give more to the rich.

the destruction and abuses of our democracy, freedoms of choice, and ultra high costs forcing us to make America great again.

several dozen hungry Palestinians who were killed this weekend while trying to get to a food center.

the lipstick on the mall parking lot, but not doing anything with the street around Red Lobster and Applebee’s, so much for city government.

the Big Beautiful Betrayal Bill that will increase our debt by more than $3.3 trillion, more than any single bill in American history.

the Big “Ugly” Bill that cuts Medicare by $500 billion.

the Supreme Court justice and others who use hyperbolic language that has no connection to reality.
