Indiana University Columbus will hold walk-in sessions for admitted and prospective students from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 14-18.

The sessions will facilitate meetings between students and IU Columbus admissions counselors. Although meetings are for interested and admitted students, high school students who are planning ahead and adults considering returning to college are welcome to attend.

“Students who might be having second thoughts about starting or returning to college for financial reasons – we really encourage you to come out and talk to us,” said assistant director of enrollment management at IU Columbus Jayne Morris. “Just taking one or two classes can really help make progress toward a degree and increase the odds of graduating.”

The theme of the week is “It’s in the bag!” and all attendees will receive an IU Columbus tote bag. Students and parents will learn more about undergraduate and graduate programs while attending informational sessions, campus tours and receiving assistance with the application process.

Participants should meet at the admissions office in the Campus Center Building at 4601 Central Ave. If a participant is interested in learning more but are unable to attend, they are welcome to schedule a virtual or in-person appointment with an admissions counselor at columbus.iu.edu/admissions.
