
Children young and old alike enjoyed the old-fashioned hayrides on July 4, 1975, at Mill Race Park. The hayrides were part of the Fourth of July celebration held at the park.
2015
Columbus native Mark Panning was part of a NASA project planning to study the interior of Mars to learn more about its evolutionary process. An unmanned craft was set to launch for the planet in March 2016.
2000
Columbus East High School’s Kali Carter was chosen to participate in the ICGSA/Junior All-Star volleyball match at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Carter would be joined by Brownstown players Paige Deck, Leah Wischmeier and Kamy Peters.
1975
W. Melvin Harrison, Jr. was named the new principal of Columbus North High School after serving for 10 years as assistant principal at the school. The selection was made by the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. Board after a recommendation from Dr. Clarence Robbins.
