BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY — Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies opened an investigation in April into allegations of child molesting.
A 14-year-old victim disclosed that she had been molested multiple times by Charles Reynolds, 55 of Seymour when she was approximately 6 to 7 years old, said Lt. Dane Duke, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office spokesman.
After completion of the investigation, an arrest warrant was issued in Jennings County for Level 4 felony child molestation. Reynolds was taken into custody on the above charge in Seymour, and remanded into the custody of the Jennings County Jail. Reynolds remains in custody on a $75,000 bond.
