Preschool Art Studio — 11 to 11:30 a.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Children ages 1 to 5 and their caregivers can drop in for age-appropriate process art! Process art focuses on the journey of making art rather, than the end product.
The Kalsi Sizzling Summer BBQ — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Sarla Kalsi Conference Center, 222 Fourth St., Columbus. Menu will feature BBQ pulled park and grilled chicken, potato salad, baked beans, pasta salad and pie. Proceeds will benefit the Lincoln-Central Neighborhood Family Center’s Angels of Love Christmas Gift Assistance Program.

kidscommons at the Library — 1 to 2 p.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Children in grades 1 to 3 are invited to join kidscommons educators to learn about sound. Children will make their own instruments.
Teen Film Series: Renaissance Double Feature — 1 to 3 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Watch “10 Things I Hate About You” and “She’s the Man” in the Teen Area.
Sports Community Fun Day — 1:30 to 3 p.m., NexusPark, 2380 25th St., Columbus. Drop in to the Circle K Fieldhouse for a day of fun and sports. Stations, games and activities will be set up throughout the facility for you to try out all the fun offerings Parks and Recreation and NexusPark have to offer. Free.
BCPL Express — 1 to 3 p.m., NexusPark, 2380 25th St., Columbus. BCPL Express is a mobile free book program from the Bartholomew County Public Library.

Adult Storytime — 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Hope Branch Library, 635 Harrison St., Hope. Come and relax while a short story is read to you. There will be adult coloring sheets and journals provided for you while you listen. This program is only for adults due to the content.
