After acquiring her EMT license she loved volunteering her EMT services to the Bartholomew County Fair where her and Leon would spend the entire week visiting with friends while Janice was on call.
Janice’s sense of community was further embodied by her active membership at Mt. Healthy Community Church where she led singing and performed special songs. She also sang at several family weddings.
An avid lover of the outdoors, Janice found peace and pleasure in mowing her 6 acre yard on a zero turn mower and was mowing up until her last day. She embraced the life of a farmer’s wife with grace and lent support to Leon wherever needed. She lived life to the fullest with a grateful heart and saw the good in everyone.
All who knew her will carry forward the light of her generous spirit, and her memory will be treasured forever.
