2015

Columbus Regional Health and the Cummins Technical Center received national recognition for being included on the American Heart Association’s list of 84 fit-friendly worksites in Indiana. The list recognized employer efforts to promote health and wellness on the worksite.

2000

The Arvin Foundation ceased to exist as a freestanding organization, and between $4 million and $5 million in endowed funds the foundation controlled were transferred to the Heritage Fund of Bartholomew County.

1975

Former Columbus resident Linda L. Lee released her first solo album, “Just for Today,” which included 10 religious songs. The album was recorded at the Queen City Album Company in Cincinnati, Ohio.
