Family Service prepares to host 12th annual Adult Prom

Family Service, Inc. is preparing for its 12th annual Adult Prom, a feel-good fundraiser happening at The Forge in

Columbus, from 7 to 11 p.m. Aug. 9.

This year’s theme, “Running Child Abuse Out of Bartholomew County,” highlights the critical work Family Service does to prevent abuse and provide mental health support throughout the community.

The CAP Adult Prom has become a beloved local tradition, raising essential funds for Family Service’s prevention and mental health programs. Guests can look forward to:

• Dancing all night long

• A beautifully curated grazing table

• The crowning of Prom King and Queen

• A silent auction—including an exciting new VIP experience

New this year, a luxury lounge experience will debut at the CAP Adult Prom and will be available to one lucky bidder through the silent auction. This exclusive VIP package includes priority access, private cocktail service, and tableside seating.

“This is the most elite experience CAP has ever offered,” says Sue Lamborn, executive director. “The lounge adds a unique touch of luxury to the evening—all while supporting the vital cause of child abuse prevention.”
