EDINBURGH — Two stop signs at the intersection of Kyle and Ward streets in Edinburgh have been removed, creating a one-way stop for only Ward Street.
The decision was made at the Edinburgh Town Council meeting on Monday. The town posted about the change on its Facebook account Thursday.
There is still a stop sign on Ward Street as drivers approach Kyle Street, with a new sign stating cross-traffic does not stop. Drivers on Ward Street will still need to stop before turning onto Kyle Street, but drivers traveling along Kyle Street won’t need to stop at Ward Street in either direction.
