Jennings County teen arrested on two counts of attempted murder

JENNINGS COUNTY — Jennings County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 18-year-old Adrianna Harris on two counts of Level 1 attempted murder after an investigation Sunday night.
The sheriff’s office responded to a report of multiple people stabbed in a residence in Geneva Township at about 6:01 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies, along with officers from assisting agencies, arrived within minutes and located multiple victims suffering from serious injuries. Deputies located the alleged suspect, who was taken into custody without further incident.
Deputies immediately rendered life-saving aid, including the application of multiple tourniquets. Emergency Medical Services requested two medical helicopters to the scene. Three patients were ultimately treated, two of whom were airlifted to trauma centers for advanced care.
Following the investigation, Harris was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder both Level 1 felonies. She is currently being held without bond at the Jennings County Jail pending her initial hearing in Jennings County Circuit Court.
This case remains under investigation.
