KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA
Daniel Earl Gommel, 77 of Kissimmee, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2025. He was born in Bartholomew County, Indiana, the son of Earl and Helena Gommel. He moved to Kissimmee, Florida in 2019 from Bloomington, Indiana. Daniel was a retired Engine Parts Manager for Cummins Engine Company.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 46 years: Marjorie Gommel of Kissimmee, Florida; his sons: Douglas Wayne Gommel of Winchester, Indiana, Michael Ryan Gommel of Kissimmee, Florida; his daughters: Kimberly Denise Gommel Jerome and her husband Jerry of Columbus, Indiana, Sharalynn Renee Gommel Lake and her husband Seth of Nashville, Tennessee, Kristynn Marie Gommel of Kissimmee, Florida; his 8 adoring grandchildren and his 8 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at Clear Creek Cemetery in Bloomington.
