Jets take second in Hokum-Karem

HOPE — Hauser’s boys cross-country team opened its season Tuesday by finishing second in its Hauser Hokum-Karem.

Greensburg won the three-team event with 10 points to 13 for the Jets, while Rushville was third with 26. Scores were based on the combined finishes of each school’s top three two-man teams.

Hauser’s Jace Wright and Nolan Dailey finished second in 31 minutes, 6 seconds, running a mile each three times. Braydon McFarland and Max Moore took fourth in 34:05, while Mason Johnson and Grady Niccum were seventh in 37:58.

The Jets do not have any girls runners. Greensburg was the only school with at least three two-person girls teams.
