COLUMBUS
Billy C. Brown, 84 of Columbus, passed away August 18, 2025 in Greensburg. He was born April 13, 1941 in Haldeman, KY to the late Ralph Brown and Catherine (Pence) Crawley. Billy was a 1959 graduate of Clarksburg High School and attended college for Business &Psychology. He was a plant manager for Indiana Gear and worked as an Engineer at Cummins. Billy was a great carpenter and enjoyed fishing. Billy was a member of Bethel Apostolic Church in Greensburg.
Billy is survived by his sons, Brian J. (Paula Michelle) Brown of Deputy Pike, IN, Billy (Karen Elizabeth) Brown, Jr. of St. Paul, IN and Brant (Roberta) R. Brown of Deputy Pike, IN; daughter, Beth Ann(Tony) Parrish of Columbus, IN; brother, Robert Brown (his twin); sisters, Shelvy (Clarence) McQueen and Kathy (Scott) Avery. He will also be missed by 9 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents and step father, George Crawley and sister, Mary Lou Wyatt.
Services will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 1 PM in Moster Mortuary with Brother Todd Smith &Brother Glen Seaman presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 11 AM until the time of service in the mortuary. Burial will be held in Pence Cemetery (Mountain Assembly Church of God Cemetery) in Metamora.
