Two trios from Columbus-based Sony’s Dance Zone won national champion titles at the 2015 Triple S National Dance Competition in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Lauren Grider, Sydnee Guthrie and Olivia Keller won the duet/trio title for the preteen age division and Gabby Grimes, Haleigh Hoffman and Brooklyn Sulinski won for the junior age division.

William Ormsby of Columbus was elected president of the Board of Directors of the Bartholomew County Welfare Department. Ormsby succeeded Patricia Bush, who was elected vice president.
