EDINBURGH — Edinburgh won the first set Thursday, but South Decatur rallied for a 23-25, 25-21, 25-7, 25-16 Mid-Hoosier Conference volleyball win.
Taylor Somers recorded 10 kills and four blocks, and Raegan Benge had 14 assists and four aces to lead the Cougars (2-0, 1-0). Dalilah Martin notched 15 digs.
Also for South Decatur, Martin pounded nine kills, Riley Benge tallied six kills and two blocks and Kennedy Sundal notched three assists and two blocks. Raegan Benge had three blocks, Liz Bennett notched 14 digs, Somers added 13 digs and three aces Laney Seegers served two aces.
Kenna Streeval pounded seven kills, and Lilly Bruno notched 19 digs to lead the Lancers (1-5, 0-1). Bruno added five kills.
