EDINBURGH
Rebecca “Becky” Kay Davis, 72 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away on August 23, 2025 at her residence. She was born August 1, 1953 in Greensburg, Indiana. She was the daughter of Harold and Eileen (Moore) Bowers. She married Jimmy L. Davis on April 14, 1984 and he survives. She is also survived by sons, James R. Davis of Edinburgh, Indiana and Kyle E. Davis of Porter Ranch, California, granddaughter, Jordyn Davis, brothers, Dale (Debbie) Bowers of Edinburgh, Indiana, John (Diane) Bowers of Monticello, Kentucky and David (Shawn) Bowers of West Hills, California, sister, Rachael (Allen) Shelley of Smyrna, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Stephen Bowers.
Becky was a 1971 graduate of Edinburgh High School. She was a member of the Columbus Baptist Church. She retired from North Side Middle School as a teacher’s assistant after 23 years. She enjoyed time with her family, church activities and watching Purdue basketball.
A funeral service will be conducted by Pastor Charles Kennedy at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Columbus Baptist Church in Columbus, Indiana. Calling will be from 4:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at the church and from 10:00 AM until time of service on Wednesday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana. Memorial contribution may be made to Columbus Regional Hospital Cancer Center.
