Co-No. 17 Columbus North dropped only two games over the five matches Thursday in opening its Conference Indiana boys tennis schedule with a 5-0 win against Southport.
Alek Devidze beat Steven Thang 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Max Wei topped Brady Hobbs 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Jace Branham blanked Eli Thompson 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Bull Dogs (3-0, 1-0).
North’s Teddy Littrell and Vince Sasse downed Liam Dailey and Lincoln Kissel at No. 1 singles and Jaishal Padmanabhan and Harsil Gandhi defeated Samuel Kissel and Ayden Nebo at No. 2 singles, both by 6-0, 6-0 scores.
