MADISON — Columbus East went 3-1 Saturday in the volleyball Madison Invitational.
The Olympians beat Lawrenceburg 25-20, 25-20 and Rock Creek Academy 25-20, 25-9 before falling to Christian Academy of Indiana 25-23, 25-15 and beating South Dearbornn 15-25, 25-18, 15-11.
Addy Dean recorded 24 kills and 10 blocks, and Payten Osborn had 37 assists and seven aces to lead the Olympians (5-5). Krea Martin notched 40 digs, and Chloe Gill served seven aces.
Also for East, Izzy Rice pounded 11 kills, Kenlee Gault tallied 29 assists, Anika Jenkins had seven blocks and Kadence Smith added 12 digs.
