Rebels top Trinity

HANOVER — Southwestern (Hanover) won four matches in straight sets Friday to hand Trinity Lutheran a 4-1 boys tennis defeat.

Ross Bevers and Zack Lister beat Luke Morrow and Brady Bowman 7-6 (5), 7-5 at No. 2 doubles for the Cougars (3-2).

Trinity’s Jonathan Naewedde fell to Braxton Lewis 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, Daniel Naewedde lost to Talon Wynn 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 singles and Aden Aberring fell to Quinton Lewis 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Luke Schepman and Reed Roeder lost to Brady Cook and Colton Deputy 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles.
