GREENSBURG — South Decatur kept it close early Friday, but Shenandoah pulled away for a 39-0 victory.
Jayden Jackson-Ray 19 carries for 80 yards to lead the Cougars (0-2) offensively.
“This is actually a game we thought we could compete in and win,” South Decatur coach Rodney Martin said. “We looked a little better in areas this week than we did last week. We kind of made some strides, but we took a step back in some other areas. We’re a young team, and we’re going to grow as the year goes on.”
