INDIANAPOLIS — No. 22 Columbus North had a chance to see the state’s top-ranked boys tennis team and fell to No. 1 Carmel 4-1 Tuesday in a match played at Perry Meridian.
Alek Devidze beat Andrew Kim 6-3, 4-6, 6-1 at No. 1 singles for the Bull Dogs (3-1).
North’s Max Wei fell to Vishal Shaukar 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, and Jace Branham lost to Andrew Hall 6-4, 6-2 at No. 3 singles. Teddy Litrrell and Vince Sasse fell to Makesh Dubruri and Mikes Davidson 2-6, 6-0, 7-6 (6) at No. 1 doubles, and Jaishal Padmanabhan and Harsil Gandhi lost to Mikhil Gupta and Issac Yiat 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
