WHITESTOWN — Brown County picked up its first win of the season Friday, a 30-14 victory at Noblesville HomeSchool.
Quentin Bell threw for three touchdowns and ran 60 yards for another to lead the Eagles (1-2). Colton Swisher and Asher Stringer caught first-half scoring passes, and Finn Treacy caught one in the third quarter.
Bell threw for more than 200 yards. Linebacker Joe Anderson, who was injured early in the season opener against Owen Valley and missed last week’s loss to Crawford County, came back Friday and had three sacks and two pass break-ups to lead the defense.
Brown County will play its first-ever Mid-Indiana Football Conference game next week when they host Class A No. 1 North Decatur.
