Hannasch is officially on the house.
Former CEO of Alimentation Couche-Tard, the company that owns Circle K, Brian Hannasch is now on the roof of NexusPark as part of Turning Point Domestic Violence Services’ annual roof sit in. He will remain on the roof until he reaches his goal of $106,000 for Turning Point or until 8 p.m.
“… I think we’ll exceed $100,000 for a great cause today,” Hannasch said before his ascent.
Two “buckets” of money are available for people to donate to, one to keep him on the roof longer and the other to get him down. So far, more money has been put in the “keep him on the roof” bucket.
“It’s a great cause so hopefully people turn up and support,” Hannasch said.
A donation link is available at Turning Point’s website.
A barbecue lunch and a pizza dinner will be offered throughout the day. The Dude Daddies band will be performing from 5 to 8 p.m., and Hog Molly Brewing Co. will serve beer beginning at 5 p.m. Family-friendly activities like cornhole and yard games are set up on the NexusPark green space.
