SHELBYVILLE — Edinburgh picked up its first boys tennis win of the season Thursday, a 4-1 Mid-Hoosier Conference triumph at Southwestern (Shelby).
Raiden Stanley beat David Carlston 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 singles, and Braden Cox topped Andrew Pile 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles for the Lancers (1-5, 1-1). Jayson Music and Bryinnyn Moss downed Kentley Gosser and Caleb McDonald 7-5, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles, and Teddy Crawhorn and Charlie Roberts defeated Ryder Scott and Liam Tuscano 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.
Edinburgh’s Bailey Totten fell to Kyle Beck 6-4, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
