Edinburgh Fall Festival, 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday through 12, 1 to 10 p.m. Sept. 13, Downtown Edinburgh. Enjoy a classic midway, live entertainment, food vendors and family fun, plus a parade on Sept. 13.

Music Makerspace, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., Wednesdays, Columbus Propeller, 4760 Ray Boll Blvd., Columbus. Music Makerspace is a place where people can come looking for others to play music with. Propeller is looking for people interested in getting back into playing or possibly picking up an instrument. The club is free and open to all skill levels.

Miller Prize Recipient Charlie Vinz of Adaptive Operations in conversation with special guest Shannon Stratton, executive director of Ox-Bow School of Art and Artists’ Residency in Saugatuck, Michigan and the director of the Post-Baccalaureate Program in Painting and Drawing at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
