Columbus native Brent Black retired from acting in “Mamma Mia!” on Broadway after a 14-year run with the production. Black graduated from Columbus North High School in 1976.

A tombstone that had been missing from Ohio Chapel Cemetery in Ogilville appeared near Bethel Baptist Church with no indication of how it got there. The tombstone had been missing for anywhere from eight to 30 years.

Iowa truck drivers Harold Miller and Larry Lange set 14 national speed records for long-haul trucks using a Cummins Engine Co. KTA 600 engine. One of the records was 132.154 miles per hour.
