Co-No. 22 Columbus North pulled out a three-set win at No. 2 doubles Thursday, but No. 10 Center Grove took the other four matches to claim a 4-1 boys tennis victory.
Luca Devidze and Jaishal Padmanabhan beat Johnny Cracraft and Colton Ray 4-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4 at No. 2 doubles for the Bull Dogs (6-3).
North’s Alek Devidze fell to Yuveras Dasari 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, Max Wei lost to Alex Kandris 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 singles and Jace Branham fell to Jack Dybwad 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3 singles. Teddy Littrell and Vince Sasse lost to Austin Crow and Maanav Kamath 0-6, 6-2, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles.
