JEFFERSONVILLE — Jennings County won the No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles matches Thursday, but Jeffersonville took the other three to pull out a 3-2 boys tennis victory.
Parker Bales beat Teddy Burnette 6-0, 6-3 at No. 1 singles for the Panthers (4-8). Ty Zohrlaut and Luke Napier topped Tyler Braitling and Johan Romine 6-3, 6-7 (9), (10-5) at No. 1 doubles.
Jennings’ Luke Clapp fell to Austin Gazaway 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles, and Colten Short lost to KJ Westbay 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. Asher Morin and Charlie Treadway fell to Jared Garcia and Ethan Moran 7-5, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
