EDINBURGH — Oldenburg Academy pulled out a third-set tiebreaker at No. 2 singles Thursday to claim a 3-2 boys tennis win at Edinburgh.
Charlie Roberts and Jayson Music beat Grand Hartwell and Grant Wanstrath 4-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4 at No. 2 doubles for the Lancers (3-7). Braden Cox won by forfeit at No. 3 singles.
Edinburgh’s Bailey Totten fell to Clay Eckstein 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, and Raiden Stanley lost to Grant Rosenberg 6-2, 4-6, (10-7) at No. 2 singles. Brinnyn Moss and Jayden Castillo fell to Jack Freeland and Zach Phillips 6-3, 6-5 at No. 1 doubles.
