CARMEL — Class 3A No. 18 Columbus North was without three starters because of injuries and suspensions Friday, but still managed a 1-1 tie at 3A No. 2 and undefeated Carmel.
The Greyhounds scored in the 18th minute, but the Bull Dogs (3-2-4) tied in in the 34th on a goal by Manuel Valle off an assist from Jonah Sipes.
Carmel outshot North 23-4, putting four shots on goal to two for the Bull Dogs. Nicolas De Linan Palacios recorded three saves for North.
