INDIANAPOLIS — An overnight lane closure is scheduled this weekend on southbound I-65 in southeast Indianapolis for drainage work. During this time, a portion of I-65 southbound will be reduced to one lane.
The closure will be from 1 to 5 a.m. Saturday, with the right lane closed between the I-65/I-465 interchange and Keystone Avenue.
Drivers should plan ahead and consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur.
The construction zone speed limit remains active on I-65. A reduced speed of 45 mph is in place for the duration of I-65 Safety and Efficiency work. It is important for drivers to slow down and avoid distractions in work zones.
