Members of Scottish clans from around the country came together at the Bartholomew County 4-H Fairgrounds for the annual Scottish Festival. Twenty clan tents were set up throughout the fairgrounds, allowing visitors to form family connections.

The former Westenedge Park was renamed Chapman T. Blackwell III Park in honor of Chap Blackwell, a longtime supporter of Columbus Parks. Blackwell was a member of the Park Board for 32 years.
1975
Larry Wade of Edinburgh won first place in a truck roundup and display at Columbus Center with his 1975 Diamond Reo Radar, equipped with a 290 horsepower Cummins engine.
