The IHSAA has set dates and times for the sectional pairings in boys and girls soccer and girls volleyball.
The boys and girls soccer draws start at 7 p.m. Sept. 28. The girls volleyball draw will be at 7 p.m. Oct. 5. The football sectional draw will be Oct. 12, with the time still to be determined.
Greenwood will host a 3A girls soccer ectional that includes Columbus North and Columbus East. Monrovia will host a Class A sectional that features Hauser.
Whiteland will host a Class 3A boys soccer sectional that includes North and East. Southwestern (Shelby) hosts a Class A sectional that features Hauser.
Franklin will host a Class 4A volleyball sectional that features North and East. Hauser will be the host of an eight-team sectional with defending Class A state champion and No. 1-ranked Trinity Lutheran, along with Crothersville, Jac-Cen-Del, Milan, Oldenburg Academy, Rising Sun and Shawe Memorial.
North-East girls golf set for Tuesday
The Columbus East and Columbus North girls golf teams will battle Tuesday in the next installment of the fall sports city rivalry series. The teams will tee it up at at around 4:15 p.m. at Otter Creek Golf Course.
The last city rivalry series for the fall sports season will be in volleyball with the teams meeting Oct. 2 at East.
Also, North will tee off in the Conference Indiana Tournament at Timbergate Golf Course at 9 a.m. Monday. This could be the last Conference Indiana girls golf meet since Bloomington North will be moving to the Mid-State Conference and both Terre Haute North and Terre Haute South are moving to the Sagamore Conference at the beginning of the 2026-27 school year.
East is scheduled to play in the Hoosier Hills Conference Tournament today at Jeffersonville.
