Trinity edges Brownstown

BROWNSTOWN — Trinity Lutheran pulled out a three-set win at No. 2 singles Tuesday to claim a 3-2 boys tennis triumph at Brownstown Central.

Daniel Naewedde beat Max Peters 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2 singles for the Cougars (9-5). Jonathan Naewedde and Reed Roeder topped Jace Reaser and Trey Isaacs 6-2, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, and Luke Schepman and Ross Bevers defeated Carson Ferguson and Max Somers 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.

Trinity’s Jack Stuckwisch fell to Chase Brock at No. 1 singles, and Zach Lister lost to Charlie Blair at No. 3 singles, both by 6-2, 7-5 scores.
