“The Princess Bride” was shown on the lawn of The Inn at Irwin Gardens as part of the Moonlight Movie Series. Concessions and a full bar were offered for those watching the movie.

2000

Artists and art lovers mingled during the Chautauqua of the Arts 2000 at Mill Race Park, with more than 195 artists selling their work. The annual festival featured contemporary, traditional and folk art.

Columbus North High School students Gregory D. Clarke, Joy L. Colwell, Jeffrey S. Dunn, Steve Griffith, John A. Habermeyer and Amy E. Shepherd were semifinalists in the 1976 National Merit Scholarship program.
