NORTH VERNON — Columbus North and Jennings County split the first two sets before the Bull Dogs claimed the final two to pull out a 25-17, 19-25, 256-24, 25-14 volleyball victory.
Karen Dutro recorded 16 kills and one solo and two assist blocks, and Morgan Osborn had 17 digs and four aces to lead the Bull Dogs (12-6). Tania Maldonado pounded 16 kills, and Lexi Denny tallied 41 assists.
Also for North, Sydney Ousley contributed 10 kills and one solo and one assist block, and Elaina Penrod had one solo and one assist block. Osborn posted five assists, Hannah Perry notched 10 digs, Kyndal Wheeler added nine digs and Dutro served two aces.
The Panthers fell to 8-8.
